Alice & the Glass Lake’s music draws you in subtly and softly, girlish and beguiling… Then sooner or later drums, strong percussion and wonderful mixing lifts the mood in an upward drift.
Originating from Madison, WI, Alice’s release of The Evolution EP is a good indicator of her talents, which likely stem from the way she opens up with raw honesty to pour out her heart.

Higher is the pop highlight of the EP, grabbing attention the way Ellie Goulding might. But there is a broader range on this brooding track list, with Paracosm sounding a little more Lynch-eon and Coming Down carrying a Bat For Lashes influence.
Apparently the current ‘status’ of ‘the lake’ is ‘frozen’…
