Big Boi + Theophilus London Tour Oz

Hurrah! Big Boi of Outkast fame, who also worked with Janelle Monae last year, is gracing Australia with Theophilus London and Fundamentals.

Most of you will know Big Boi’s song Shutterbug (which has recently been doing the Triple J rounds). But this guy has a pretty interesting depth to his sound. It’s all pretty sublime.

Theophilus London is a new favourite of mine. He’s a little bit Kanye, a little bit Kid Cudi, but on his debut album he doesn’t sample (though he has a cool Lauryn Hill-esque mix “tape” from 2009).
